Gorge Express 2016 service ends Sept. 25!

This year, the Columbia Gorge Express operates through Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016. Since service launched on Memorial Day Weekend, thousands of people have enjoyed the easy, fun and affordable trip from to Multnomah Falls. Here are some of things we’ve been hearing:

  • What a cool resource for hiking in our beloved Columbia Gorge.
  • Catch MAX blocks from home. Then catch the bus at Gateway. Get to Multnomah Falls w/zero driving!
  • Now it’s easy to show your out of town guests one of our greatest sites!
  • Not having to drive and find parking is a huge deal.

Throughout the season, the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) has been evaluating the service and listening to rider feedback to improve the experience for all Gorge Express riders. ODOT appreciates all of the input shared by riders thus far and will continue to explore opportunities for improvement before service begins again next year. Stay tuned for more information from the recent rider survey, service statistics from this year and news about the 2017 season!
