Columbia Gorge Express 2017 service starts May 26!

The second season of the Columbia Gorge Express pilot service kicks off Friday, May 26, 2017. Start planning those weekend escapes!

Last summer, thousands of people enjoyed the easy, fun and affordable trip to Multnomah Falls. Following the successful inaugural season, the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) reviewed feedback and implemented changes to improve the experience for all Gorge Express riders. Here's a look at what's new in season two:

  • Bigger buses from Gateway Transit Center to accommodate more riders and reduce wait times
  • New stop location at Gateway Transit Center inside the transit center bus bay—making it even easier to connect from TriMet services!
  • Buses will now accept cash and credit cards—however we encourage riders to buy tickets online to avoid boarding delays!
  • Coming soon: New stop location at Rooster Rock State Park, with more seating and shade to enjoy while you wait

The Columbia Gorge Express website is your one-stop-shop for information about the bus service in 2017.  We look forward to seeing you on the Columbia Gorge Express this summer!
