The Columbia Gorge Express Fall Schedule is Here!

9/11/2019

After another busy summer season, the Columbia Gorge Express will soon transition to our fall schedule. Fall in the Gorge is a special time to take in the changing colors of the landscape, enjoy a quiet hike, or attend one of several festivals in Hood River.

Columbia Gorge Express service will taper in two phases to accommodate the gradually shrinking crowds:

PHASE 1: Monday, September 16 to Sunday, September 29

  • Daily bus service between Portland, Multnomah Falls, Cascade Locks, and Hood River will continue with the same frequency, but there will be some changes to schedule times.
  • Bus service between Portland and Rooster Rock State Park will only be available Friday - Sunday.
  • Free shuttle service between Rooster Rock State Park and Multnomah Falls will be reduced from 7 days a week to 3 days a week (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

PHASE 2: Starting on Monday, September 30

  • Daily bus service between Portland, Multnomah Falls, Cascade Locks, and Hood River will continue, but at a reduced frequency.
  • Bus service between Portland and Rooster Rock State Park ends for the season.
  • Free shuttle service between Rooster Rock State Park and Multnomah Falls ends for the season.

We hope to see you soon on the Columbia Gorge Express!
