August 3 - 4: Expect service delays due to I-205 closure in Portland

On August 2 - 5, all lanes of northbound Interstate 205 will be closed for paving between Southeast Foster Road and Interstate 84. This will impact Columbia Gorge Express service on Saturday, August 3 and Sunday, August 4. Buses departing Gateway Transit Center in Portland will have to take a detour that is expected to add 15 minutes of travel time. Learn more about the paving project and detour via the Oregon Department of Transportation's press release

Columbia Gorge Express passengers should arrive at their bus stop at the scheduled time, as we cannot predict how significant the delays will be.

Drivers will do their best to get passengers to their destination safely, efficiently, and patiently. Once aboard, relax and enjoy the scenery of the Columbia River Gorge!

Columbia Gorge Express buses will also make an additional stop at the Historic Highway State dedication on Saturday, August 3. Information about the event and stop location is available on the Columbia Gorge Express website
